FMS has always been about exploring the path less taken, finding beauty in forgotten places, and sharing a little bit of that adventure with others. Sometimes that means a photograph. Sometimes it means a story. And now, sometimes it means leaving a little piece of art behind for someone else to find.
We’re calling this new project Free Art Drop.
Dixie has already dropped off three pieces at the Cogar gas station, and that old spot has treated us well. But now it’s time to move around a bit. Going forward, Free Air Drop locations will rotate around the area like a small-town Easter egg hunt with a creative twist. Some drops may land in rural, quiet, out-of-the-way places. Others may show up somewhere local, familiar, and easy to find.
The fun is in the hunt.
Each Art Drop will be announced through a social media post, hopefully with just enough clues to help you track it down. We want it to feel like a backroad adventure, a little mystery, and a small reward waiting for whoever takes the time to look.

The heart of this project is simple:
Take. Keep. Share.
Take the free Art Drop piece when you find it. Keep it for yourself if it speaks to you, or share it with a friend who might enjoy it. There are no strings attached. No purchase. No contest. No big production. Just a little piece of our art passion placed out in the world for someone else to enjoy.
We do ask one important thing: please be respectful of the place you are visiting.
Whether the drop is at an old gas station, a quiet roadside stop, a local landmark, or a well-loved public space, leave the area better than you found it. Don’t damage anything. Don’t trespass. Don’t move things around or disturb the history of the location. FMS is built on appreciation, not destruction. These places matter, and part of the joy is honoring them while we explore.
We’d also love to know where each piece finally lands.

If you find a Free Art Drop piece, snap a photo and let us know. Share where it ended up, who found it, or who you passed it along to. Tag us on Instagram and use the hashtag:
#FMSArtDrop
Maybe the art stays on your wall. Maybe it rides along with a friend. Maybe it travels farther than we ever expected. That’s part of the fun for us. Once we place it out there, the story belongs to whoever finds it next.
So keep an eye on our social posts, watch for the clues, and be ready to roam a little.
The next Free Art Drop could be waiting down a back road, around a familiar corner, or in a place you’ve driven past a hundred times without stopping.
Take it. Keep it. Share it.
And most of all, enjoy the hunt.
